dairy products can help you lose weight

In a study made by the International Journal of Obesity has been found out that dairy products can help you lose weight.

In the study investigated a group of people who were all on a diet and therefore took a lower number of calories than they burned. The people who ate the most dairy products lost on average 0.7 kg. more fat and took 0.6 kg. more on in muscle mass compared to those who took a lower level of dairy products. The study showed, however, that an increased intake of dairy products have no effect on weight loss if you are not also on a calorie restrictive diet.

The researchers reasoned findings that the calcium, vitamin D and protein found in dairy products helps one to lose fat, the calories go for building muscle rather than building up fat stores.
